Feminism, as a movement towards the establishment or, in societies where it is already established, maintenance of political, economic, personal, and social rights for women, has and always will have my support. Trying to assert that feminism is cancer is ridiculous in the extreme. It would be as if I was trying to assert that nationalism is like cancer because it occasionally leads to societal ruin. Every political interests group, whether they be religious (e.g. the Russian Orthodox Church), ideological (e.g. the Socialist International), demographical (e.g. Civil Rights movement), or tribal (e.g. Sverigedemokraterna) in nature, has its crazy extremists that believe in some twisted version of their group's principles and are willing to go to extreme lengths to enforce it. In no such case should we generalise and assume that the group as a whole is like the extremists. This applies to feminism also. Just because a few overzealous idiots are making problems by going too far doesn't mean that the suppression of women's rights is not a real, pressing, and immediate concern for the majority of the world's women or that this concern doesn't needs addressing.

Vladimir Putin said nationalism is virus which tries to harm healthy organism. And isn't it like that? Give me one example of nationalist country with normal relations to other states and different ethnic groups. I'll give you the proof that nationalism doesn't work because one country started world war, killed millions directly and indirectly, failed at the end, surrendered unconditionally and lasted only 12 years. By the way, i support Feminism and their promotion of women role as good mothers, humble wifes and hardworking housewifes

Feminist groups today are actually bunch of frustrated, fat and ugly pigs with vagina who saw dick only on google and who hate men because of some absurd and irrelevant reasons just to attract few rays of attention for their hungry damaged ego, because it's the only way they can attract it.

I don't know what feminist you are describing (Feminist in RUssia maybe?), but the feminist in the US and UK are immensely extreme in their beliefs. The only good feminist I an say exist is Christina Hoff Sommers who discusses both women AND men's issues. I do support feminist in countries that are actual patriarchies or actually present numerous and strong barriers to women (ie. China or the Middle East).

No nation, European or otherwise, should have to give up their heritage and culture for some foreigners. They assimilate or they can remain outside of society.

People are taking this poll too seriously XD also most feminists today are feminazis. All they care about all women's issues and blow them out of proportion; they say equality, but never bring up men's issues. They bring up rape, but when someone says that more men are raped (at least in the US) they say prison rape doesn't count. By that logic, we should say that any women who makes less than men shouldn't count when we discuss wage gaps. They never bring up how men are more likely to get longer or harsher prison sentences, they don't discuss that men are much less likely to win custody, they don't bring up that more men commit suicide, nor any other men's issues. I'm all for equal rights, but when you keep trying to paint me and every other man as a monster you can walk straight back to the kitchen.

Feminists in Russia are militant, but Putin taught us well: he advised women to create 'moderate' feminist groups, and promote real feminine values. All started when Russian union of lawyers stopped working when government imposed harsher regulations to stop them cheating and recieving bribes. 90% of lawyers are members of the union, they stick together. And that's fine, it's a free country. But Putin phoned one young lawyer who wasn't member of the union, and advised him to create new union and continue working, that way all citizens which require lawyer will come to him as every other stopped working. He did that, few more young lawyers joined him and now they swimm in money while other greedy lawyers lost many clients, lose money and their strike failed. They thought by going to strike, citizens won't be able to use courts, judges, legal protection and laws, so they would protest against Putin. But instead they just gained young hardworking lawyers who are not greedy but enthusiast and ambitious. That triggered creation of thousand of new organizations, groups, chambers and unions. Mothers of conscripts created their group to supervise Russian Army and report if their sons are treated well, sent to war, died or tortured. So if their report is negative, all of Russia will know that and government will be forced to fix the problem, address the issue. New feminist organizations, new worker unions, religious groups, organizations for promoting indigenous cultures and religion, indigenous domestic tourism and much more. No one said there should be only one union and have monopoly over whole branch of their job. That's dictatorship. Then western expert come and say Russia is oppressed totalitarian dictatorship while in reality Russia is probably in top five most free exactly because of thousand activist groups reporting daily to society, addressing various issues, bringing problems to light forcing responsible and authorities to react.

except that you've forgotten that feminism doesnt occasionally do something stupid. It usually is doing something stupid and occasionally a "dis-invited" feminist will say something smart. That is usually against they newer, more retarded feminists. It is also fairly obvious once you start reading about these nutjobs that the world is actually far more feminine friendly than male. Real feminists like Christina Hoff Smmers have come out with this type of statement.
