Around 2014-15, there were dozens of Quick games going simultaneously (I never played Casuals back then so not sure about those) at all hrs of the day - lots of activity and lots of meeting new people. Even with all those games up, you often had to rush to get into a game before it hit the max player limit. I suspect as online gaming became more advanced & popular, the interest in AtWar started to wane.
It is time for a fresh makeover of the fundamentals of how AtWar games are played, but that would require a coding overhaul as well (= $$) and it is questionable whether there would be a return on investment for Dave. Have some ideas, if Dave & Co are interested in listening.
