Moving troops with different types of transport

Strategy: DS

So lets say we have:
*5 helis
*5 marines
*3 inf
*1 general
*1 AT

1) i tried to get greater range (use of general's extra range) of helis and i stacked all these units and move them togheter, but it moves only helis with marines and 1 AT (inf and general stays)
2) i tried to move less then (4 ground units- marines, inf, gen) with at and helis and it seems it works cuz of AT but I dont want this

Anyway my point was it would be cool if we had this 1) option, something like automatic distribution of units when we moving stack with different types of transport

EDIT:
This is tested for also and for different types of transports (when 2 or more are used)
-NC destroyers
-ANY STRAT: Submarines, AT, NT
-DS helis
-Ground Transports on scenarios/maps

so when you use 2 different types of transports this does not work :/

Helicopters cannot carry gen and infantry. You would need an AT to increase the range of the Helicopters while using your gen.

So there is an option, buy an AT.

But look at units: 1AT will carry 3 inf and 1 gen AND 5 helis will carry 5 marines... but when i move them all togheter it doesnt work.. read more precisely please

Yes I tested all of the mixed transport combinations and it annoys me the most in games in which I play SM, DS, NC or MoS.

You can drag and drop them together once they're outside a city. What you cant do is use the menu to chose land units on different types of sea or air transportation. And, yes i know the problem. Can be very annoying when you need to move all as first move and you cant. Would it be complicated to change this?

Huge support. Like Klevis pointed out with NC you cant move stacks that should be able to move together....same with SM and bombers/AT/inf. It makes strategies like SM very vulnerable to TB's and I think is just an oversight.

I played Desert Storm yesterday and got a heli to move my general... Did it change, or did I just get lucky with a bug?

As Prom pointed out this issue make SM really frustrating, I m not counting number of times u send 8 bombers and and a AT and one of them gets tbed not the other...

You cant drag them togheter... try it by your self, same example as i did and u will see or use NC(destroyers and NL btw use more then 20 units) i saw that problem is there when there's more units that 1 type of transport can handle

Agree as well! Additional necessary move is a big disadvantage.

Why can't there be more than one movement menu with one button to move for all menus ?
