How to solve this problem?

I have two countires I want to make into one for custom maps. I would give you a screenshot but it wont let me

Its pretty simple. you pick the first country and delete the borders and you pick the 2nd country and do it again.

after this you draw new borders and select a existing country (one of the 2 where you deleted the borders)

äähhhmmmm why

1. Is there an easier way than deleting all the corners of the country?
And
2. If not when i do this i get left with a staright line i cant get rid of so how do i delete that?

Use the 2nd pointer in the left menu and then click on the first country you want to delete, then click on delete (Löschen in my case). Then you do the same for the 2nd country.

Then you can start drawing the new borders.
