Free Extra Cities Option

Extra cities being only for premium should not happen. Extra cities is an option that should be available to the common player who has not bought promo. It is very frustrating seeing that option grayed out. First of all, extra cities are just like a map. Any online map on mapquest will give you extra cities if you zoom in. Why not have an extra cities option for everyone? Secondly, it would improve the game play. I suggest that we add the option of adding extra cities to all players. Then we could host 3 v 3 10k Europe all day freely. The common player should have more rights. Power to the players!

It won't hurt the AtWar economy.
It won't hurt us.
It will make EU 3 v 3 bloodier hehehe.

Common players in Atwar are not of the competitive faction but of the Role Players. If Free Extra Cities is implemented, I'll be hosting 3v3s non-stop.

I quite dont understand how extra cities makes it harder for western europe, rather the contrary, u get extra income AND(more importantly) extra reinfs.... My view is extra cities unbalances Eur map even further

Well, 1st off, you couldn't do them all day as you say you could: along with adding the extra cities, you would have to allow the option to make team games available for all players as well (otherwise, you can't really do a 3 vs. 3 ).

2nd, the admins have to make money on this game, it took them a long time to make it, with a lot of sweat and effort put into it. Adding these will take away some of the incentive to get premium, and cause a decrease in income for the admins. As it is, the admins can't live off the money from premiums bought by players, they have normal lives (and regular jobs come with that), and have to fix bugs and transfer atWar to HTML5 in past months along-side these. The "atWar economy", as you call it, could indeed be affected by this.

If you're really into 3 vs. 3's, and can't get enough of them, the best thing to do is get into a good, active clan that frequently participates in CW's. This way, you still get the extra cities and team games for EU, while still earning double SP (CW's give 2x SP multipliers every game automatically)

As far as your "power and rights to the players" theme, the admins have to do what's best for atWar and it's players, and that doesn't always include giving rights and power to them.


To summarize: I'm not for support on this

I say make a 3v3 room where the eu and eu+ map has too pre-sets, with extra cities and without extra cities. and just add the other competitive maps to a list of playable maps that you can choose from when hosting, like dreamworld and ancient and every other comp map that people have ever played in a as a 3v3 or cw.
have the max players set to 6 for every game and that cant be changed and then play.

There are still large perks to premium. Plus people would support them even more with this new ability. You should support this. This is for the common good and for the sake of 3 v 3 EU extra cities.

Well, you can't have assurance that people will agree to a team game, too many trolls and such. The only secure way to do it is to include the team option also. I know the admins job is to make it more enjoyable, but it's already good as it is. If they did that, and if their job is to make it more enjoyable, why not just have all premium features available to non-premiums? They have to make money somewhere.

On the last note: this game is fun as it is, without extra cities option available. There are plenty of things to do aside from having that option available. It's obvious you want extra cities option, and you're not premium either, proving my point valid: Having the extra cities option only for premiums gives people like you more incentive to get it. If it wasn't only for premiums, it would take away from premium (even if it's only a little bit, it's still there).

Using logic, we see that we should be able to freely add extra cities. Still there is very little being taken away from premium as you read the long premium list of incentives. The same maps are hosted all day long, adding extra cities would spice it up. Let the competitive spirit of 3 v 3 EU ring out. I have also done some research on you as a player. You could benefit from this too my friend and become better at this game.

It's annoying that all tutorials and expansion videos are with extra and I hardly get to play a map with extra.

Think of how free extra cities would benefit the society as a whole.

Btw, anyone can make a signature without premium.
