Keep some good memories(Save Game)

Hi everyone!

First of all, nice work to all the developers of atwar!! An amazing game which, yet quite simple, is very fun to play!!!
I was thinking of something i believe is quite interesting for a lot of players:
Sometimes, we have awesome games, but once it's over, you forget them quite fast..
I thought to myself that it would actually be nice to be able to save a game once it's over, so you can kind of re-watch it.

The idea is to take a "capture" of every turn so you can see how the game "evolved".
I believe it could be an amazing feature! And i don't think it would be very difficult to implement..(easy talking athome)
Also, this can be done in different ways:
1. Take screenshot every turn...
2. Save territory information(player controlling it) every turn.
The second option can actually be extended(units in cities, on map in general, money owned, allies...)

Also, I would like to add that the "savegame" could be temporarily stored on the server during the game and afterwards, people can(for example) save a file containing the information before the server discards the data. Then people can upload and visualize their savegame turn by turn.

Tell me what you think about this idea/suggestion.
(I hope to have caught the attention of a developper thinking this is great. )

This would be a massive pain to implement, and storage would be a bigger pain.

You could easily instead set up a bot to take screenshots for you (or download it) every turn increment, for example, every 4 minutes

Actually, i don't think it would be difficult at all... you just take the configuration of the beginning of a turn x and save it. Once the game is over, people can choose to download the file. The more complicated thing is to give the possibility to load the file. But even to visualize, it would just be as when you start a new turn...
So i think it would be very easy!

Something like in Civilization games at the end of the game ...would be nice.

Not a bad idea Mr Huge. You may be aware the developers are spending much of their free time preparing the html5 version, so this is not the best time to propose additional changes. However, following the release of html5, consider re-posting this suggestion. ♥

I asked admins about this a few months ago to see if we could feed clan war data into social media and the response was it will be too difficult to implement the screenshot/record feature into the game engine code. I don't know if this is the same for html5 update.

You can record games yourself and save them onto your hard drive, feel free to upload them to youtube if you do
