Great news to everybody: the duel seasons are becoming more intense as the time pass!
To understand this a bit here's the evolution of the Duel Seasons.
The first one started great in the hands of duelists such as Zone, Eagle, Laochra, Goblin, and all the other common duelists. The competition was kept great specially after the announcement of medals for top 3. However the fight was mostly based in Lifetime ELO at least until the quarter before the first season ends.
The results of the second season improved greatly with the participation of players such as creyente, opi, clovis (hi), PonteZ (dark horse of the last season!) , panteri, and another number of duelists. Most of the actual peaks in Seasonal ELO were established during the second season.
The third promised more competition with the apparition of new duelists such as Mauzer Panteri, Hammer., and the early apparition of Ghost (dark horse of this season!). However it suffered from the lack of players (due to HTML merge) and got stunk for a long time, stopping the previous progress. Records in duels stayed < 1400 peak for this one.
With this season, the 4th, the competence had recovered now with the great activity of players such as Mecoy, Hammer, Critical, Heat Check, dinoscout, Ghost, Prometheus, etc. We can also see Ancient taking relevance in this season with the duels of Kraigg, Xcolonisator and Don.. . The lack of old generation players such as Panteri, Laochra, Mauzer, Zone and Goblin is noticeable in this one however. It is also noticeable the loss of the 1500 lifetime record of some players, in flavor of their seasonal.
Facts about this season:
129 ELO difference between 1st and 12th positions.
Max ~25 ELO gap between two positions (nearby stable).
This break up with the old seasons where it was usually a couple of players with high ELO in the top position and a big gap between the positions.

 RIP opi elo. All hair JF!  With 9 days left before the season ends, there seems to be a very big gap between me, critical, and the rest of the competition. We're almost secured in the top 3! On the other hand, Prometheus had followed opi's steps and fall deeper. Will me and critical stay in the top? Will the rank 5 farmer win the #3 place? Are opi and prometheus going to recover? Wait and see!

There s a typo: "Rank 5 farmer", read "rank 5 alt cheating" He is a confirmed alt of a confirmed cheater... #4 spot occupied by someone who didnt do a single 1v1 all season AND uses the capture neutral trick Apart from that gg everyone

I agree, you are so good you win ALL your duels in 2 turns.... Farming and cheating are 2 different things, if u duel a 950 seasonnal elo guy u still have a huge risk (24 elo) for a shitty reward (1 elo) Abusing the victory conditions vs low ranks is just cheating, plain and simple Edit: Support my thread for a better tommorrow: http://fr.atwar-game.com/forum/topic.php?topic_id=24552 What bugs me is most people answer is "people should pay more attention to victory conditions" as if it would solve the issue. Newsflash it wont u fail to understand these guys will do it repeatedly until they find a victim, they will NEVER start the duel if they are not 100% chance of winning. If u fail to understand why this is an abuse that should be prevented or punished then sorry you are a moron Cheers

Kid?? How old are you?? If u are more than 8 years old I pity you. Going into the trouble of creating an alt to farmcheat elo from low ranks, what kind of sick mind enjoys doing that? Concerning matthew, I talked with him about it and he is the same as you, a kid enjoying lameness. Either way u guys are like a disease spreading that mods need to adress before it gets out of control. I talked to navid who was starting to do it as well and I think he stopped. Nevertheless, allowing you 2 to be in the leaderboard encourages more people to do it, so like cancer the sooner you cut it off the better for the rest Cheers
