If we win one more match we should be neck and neck with EC for the top spot. I think the only right way to end out the season and determine 1st place would be an epic 3 v 3 cw between the clans! Let me know if you are interested?

Yup, it would be fair for our clans to fight for the 1st place.

We're hoping to put the perfect season and the title on the line vs Elite Comrades sometime next week. Looks like everything should be a go. It's set up beautifully. If EC wins they will be awarded 55 points, enough to give them 439 and first place. If we win, well, we take home the title and go 10-0 our first season.

(For the record, we could have cwed with SM again immediately afterwards and taken a shot at locking EC out of first place, but we don't wanna play spoilers to what should be a fun game.)

To understand the situation it looks like I'll have to go back a little.

In our first duel, Comrade pulled the Siberian Re-wall on me in turn 2 (destroying you walling units and then rewalling ur cap with 3 units). It's a sheisty move on par with 1st turn wf-ing and I let him know that if were to ever duel again, or play a competitive match again he should acknowledge he was wrong to do so. He wasn't interested and we haven't played, which is fine. As the Summer 2013 season was coming to an end, I thought the only real way to lend meaning and relevance to a pretty much broken cw system would be to set up a match between our 2 clans to determine first place. I asked him if he could agree to fight a fair match, he agreed and I sent the word out, looking forward to a fun game.

A day after I put him on ignore because he woulndn't stop harassing me about doing our cw that day. Then today I find out that EAB is scheduled to join and fight with them against us tomorrow. And when I let him know that I didn't agree I had to deal with all of his nonsense. Now I'm getting more nonsense from Comrade as seen in above post.

Do I really have to explain why having someone join your team the day before the 'finals' smacks of unfairness? Or can I just point out that every organized competitive sporting league around the world doesn't allow new additions onto a team roster after a certain point in the season. Professionally it is known as a 'trade deadline' usually around half way through the season, but even organized leagues for small children or amateurs don't allow for changes to the team roster before the playoffs.

Not only is it unfair to opposing teams, its also disrespectful to your own team.

The irony of it is that slowind who was going to sit for EAB is currently a much stronger 3 v 3 player. But its not about that. Its about the fact that I tried to organize a fun and meaningful event with Comrade, the person who in all of AW I get along with the least (to say it nicely), I tried and realized that it wasn't worth it.

Writing this out to explain myself isn't fun. Getting trolled by EAB and Comrade in chat isn't fun. And you know, dealing with douche bags in general isn't fun.

I guess the take a way message for me, is that unfortunately the AW community is not kind enough, to create its own meaningful means of competition. Many have tried with the tournaments, but they take too long. I tried with a Saturday tournament but there wasn't enough interest. I tried again here with the Summer season but ended up with a headache.

Actually the one person who has had success is Anon. I'm just upset that I have never been able to register in time for one of his tournaments, and I log on daily. I think that the AW community needs help from the creators of the game to create a meaningful means of competition on a clan level. And I hope it happens soon before I turn into a troll like b0nker. <3

We will cw you both for your last games if we both have people on at the same time. We don't care who you bring, as long as the game is played fairly. I don't think either side are known cheaters so it's fine. We just want some good games.

You're just going to waltz into the middle of this and propose an offer that clearly favors Comrade in Arms, a player who has no reservations about wallglitching or the 3 Unit Rewalling, and had dunno, 50k SP removed for farming and has unrepentantly used alts without notifying his opposition in cws? You surprised me.

I probably should of thought about it before posting, yeah those are glaring instances of cheating, but I was thinking of LDK and a few other people as I typed that. Odd I never remembered that CIA has cheated a number of times as well.

Doesn't excuse the fact that if you aren't going to CW them, we will. If it turns out we lose because of glitching/cheating I can just have the CWP removed and you'll still get the #1 for the season.

1) You are taking this way too seriously. Either play them or don't your choice.

2) Plenty of people have made successful tournaments, Hugosch, Tophats, Eagles, Myself and Anon to name a few.

3) I am no troll and I am disgusted you will label my name in public forums as one.

4) I just want to see more CW's without the need for 2 weeks of bitching.

1.our cws are just fine we keep a log of all the setups, we can post if you like.

I thought I cleared this up for both parties when I found the two clans starting a flame war in the middle of a 3v3 game. I guess I'll need to repeat myself, eh.

It's fair to admit that Thunderball is not entirely wrong as the clan war should really be played with the players that were in the clan at the time when the offer was made. Sure it may seem like Thunderball is over-reacting but that doesn't mean that you throw away your decency to disregard Thunderball's point away completely and make yourselves look like assholes.

There's no need for a flame war at all so please just call off everything and try not to ever repeat this again.
