I mean 7 tanks cant even beat 5 inf. what the whole point of imp when u cant capture countries

Not adding up because only partial contexts are given. Even with this example, 7 tanks can beat 5 Inf ( what strategy, not RA!), using IMP you can buy with the same amount of money not only 5 Inf. but 8,75 Inf. (or 8 Inf. and 3 Mil.). Besides, the advantage of IMP over PD is that range of Inf. is not nerfed. Basically, IMP is good for countries/regions with poor income and lots of reinforcement. Additionally, IMP is good to have spare cash to "donate" to fellow players, which is often done in 3v3 settings where Germany finances either Ukraine or Turkey. IMP is power through masses.

I play imp in casual games on hellraiser ggg 48 hour casual games , i made a 300 stack there. but i rememeber in a quick game of 6 minute with imp i made 700+ troop stack with auto-city production, it was around the 40's turn of my game it's was a pre-WWII era map a ffa no team. P.S. i had japan and took china
