Make chat easier to use.

Lower ranks find it hard to communicate, they are constantly using the wrong channels and have no idea how to use private chat.

I feel that this is one of the major barriers to new players enjoying the game and wanting to come back - i think the ones that do come back, do so because they have made friends here and know they can come to play/have fun/talk to those guys.

a few solutions
- make a tutorial that is in an obvious place where newer members will notice it. Easy to do, but will likely have limited success.
- make "chat" more of an obvious instrument - make it look more like facebook chat. Will be more effort to achieve but will be OP.
- change the way "private" messages are sent. having to type "pr/" is not obvious to new players and few realise that clicking a players name allows for messages to be sent direct to them. If there was a separate chat stream for "friends" to the other chat boxes it might be more user friendly: this could be simpy be an extra pop up window for Pm's and Pm's are easier to send directly.
