Clan War Rant.

Hey everyone.

I intend to go inactive again come the end of the season. This will effectively mean the end of illy once again as myself khal or acqui leaving usually signals the death of the clan.

Lets not kid ourselves guys. The competitive community is dying a slow death. The current cw activity levels are only an illusion as the same problems still exist from a year ago and hardly any new clans/players are joining the competitive scene. It is purely being kept alive by oldfags. The duel scene is totally fucked with the top 10 being dominated by farmers nobody has heard of. This is only going to get worse without any intervention by amok/ivan with game developements.

So what i am trying to say is get your shit together and cw while you have the chance because this wont last. I've been on a lot the past few days and have only wanted to cw but cant because all the active players are scattered throughout semi inactive clans for some reason. They play stupid standard 3v3s all day and struggle to get 3 online at the same time so we get no cws. I am pointing at you hybrid warfare, you stalins, you enigma. Mk, shadow aces, epic clan and immortals too. Pool your active members and lets enjoy some games while we can. Its boring af at the moment.

And yes universali you triggered me into this rant.

@onTopic: indeed we've some issues with JF moving and 4nic on phone. I haven't see any newcomer in months.

At least in the last days I've been globalling for a few times: cw. No answer and some simply don't want to cw even if they are 2 or 3 good players on.

Also, it's been nice having you oldfags here, I'ill enjoy your presence as much as I can 'till you go inactive.

Please AW community/clans come back!

I can't because I don't have anyone to do so with. Kappa is the only other completly active member. I can't find anyone who even wants to learn comp to train. I cant get anyone new intetested in joining And I can't get any former clan mates to join. Without people to cw you can not cw. Which sucks there are still alot of good guys out there who barely play because this games abandoned so they rather sit in there dead clan and reminisce of better times. Rather then try and make new ones.

Well guys,my opinion on this topic is that people stoping playing that much 3v3s and CWs isnt just a random fact.There are quite some reasons why we reached this point,besides the ones laochra already pointed,for example,many times when a player that hasnt ever played a 3v3 joins and picks a "non standard pick" everyone loses their minds and he gets treated like a retard and therefore kicked.Makes sense to me that these players end up hating 3v3s and CWs and lean towards RPs and other autistic maps.Admins still innactive to top of it and still not giving a fuck.

I am saying my own clan is inactive. It's very disheartening we have like 15 active people left at all and like another 15 semi active. Btw our clans cw'd today.

Every clan is in problems to find 3 players for cw...

In old times few clans were able to play 10v10 cw...

New players are scared to cw and improve (they play rp games with Lao, or random 3v3s with 4nic).

Old players got bored, but some keep coming back only because they got addicted.

I blame death for current state and propose longer ban for him...

Well guys I'm very surprising t o read what you've wrote. I thought that te AW's community was very active and that it was a very good thing. So...It looks like if i was wrong!

The thing is that you "oldfags" are always the same ones, and get boring. So, why don't you make noobs better? Noobs or not noobs! Even r7!
I mean... Google Chrome have been created the Find a Mentor Center for that. Few weeks ago, i was looking for a mentor and it was fucking har to find one! But it may no be the case! You should invested it. And trying ton make noobs bette. Maybe that we (noobs) won't get your level, capacity etc. But give us the chance to be with you during training, give us the chance to finaly come into your coal at the "end" of the training, and then let us playing CWs (i'm not speaking about r5 like me, i'm speaking about peapols who get r7 or 8 and who've passed by the FMC). This is how your noob will grow up. I understand that it's maybe complicated to let a noob make CWs, because maybe that you'll loose etc. But what is the price of a dying community?

And please, don't tell me that there is no noobs. There's a lot of newbies in this game. You just don't see them. Because we don't fight together and because you dont go through them. Come on guys, some motivation! Go on the "newbies room" look at few boring game, search a noob r5/6/7 (not less because you wont be sure that he is serious in the time) and send him a simple message "hey noob, would you please be my noob? I mean... I'll be your mentor if you want to."

Well maybe everything of what I said is wrong. But this is my noob point of vew! xaxaxa

In practice, the most effective way for a noob to being mentorized is joining a clan with certain degree of good players. We higher ranks barely ever meet with low ranks and low ranks don't look after us enough, so we're doomed

You're talking about the dead clan with only GoW in it, not the newly revived clan that holds the three most deadly low ranks which are constantly improving...right?

Maybe if moderators stopped banning active players and clan leaders, there would be some activity.
