Double capital wall has no counter, The only counter for it is to WF turn 1. And since wfing on turn 1 is not legit, this wall shouldn't be legit either since the counter is not legit.

Rewalling is moving your units ( you dont need to move them tho, but is easier, so no fail re-wall) and replacing with new units so the old units will die(get destroyed) and the new units will form an new wall.

This biggwall is just a big circle wall that prevents people to open the triangle wall that will be placed on turn 2, or is already placed on turn 1.
The problem I am talking about this whole thread and somehow after repeating this 10000million times you still dont get it. is that YOU SIMPLY CANT OPEN THE WALL ON TURN 2.
WITH REWALL YOU CAN OPEN IT ON TURN 2 BUT IF YOU DONT WF IT ITS WALLED IN TURN 3 AGAIN.. (which is your own fault)

why would you call it anything other than double walling? theres no rules or inter-player agreements regarding this to exploit. There is no logical reason to have a problem with it. You're vaguely grasping at reasons to ban it, but there are none. Just because theres no legal counter is not a reason to ban it. Some countries benefit from a double wall, others do not, some need it if using a strat with weak defense(gw/blitz). Its a strategic move that has been used since atwar began. You and goblin may hate it, and youve every right to do so, but it does not give you the right to first turn wf, or enforce your opinions on others.

Holyshit, this is the best example of your twisted view of reality, you are behaving as if you were the victim and double-layers were breaking the rules, when in fact: you are the person that is breaking the "no wf turn 1" rule.

You keep talking about rules that double layer breaks, were does it say that double layer walls are illegal? You have to accept that there is unpreventable moves in atwar, just because they are unpreventable, doesn't mean that they must be illegal or have no weakness.

Examples of unpreventable moves:

I can't prevent you from recruiting units
I can't prevent movement of stealth units
I can't prevent you from walling your cap turn 1
I can't prevent you from moving your units turn 1
I can't prevent you from moving units that are walled
I can't prevent you from sending money to allies if you have money
I can't prevent you from breaking my wall

Etc, there is countless of examples.

The only rule in AtWar is no wfing turn 1, must we vote to make it more specific. So people with no ethics and no sportsmanship can understand them? Ok:

No wfing walls in enemy territory turn 1.

A unpreventable move is a move that your opponent cant prevent with by 1. USING HIS MOVES and 2. ACCORDING TO GAME MECHANICS

Number 1. and 2. have to both be accumulated by this definition.

So lets see:
1) wf is unpreventable on turn 1 (shouldnt be used) ...on all other turns it IS PREVENTABLE, its possible to stop your opponents wf unit (unless walled - in that case look at number 2. acording to game mechanics)
2) making capital wall turn 1 is preventable of course with first turn wall fuck (unpreventable move - shouldnt be used)
3) stealth units - look at my definition under 2. (according to game mechanics)
4) walled unit movements - again look at my definition under 2. (according to game mechanics)
5) of course you can, its possible to attack the units and block them from breaking your walls (unless they are walled - in that case look at number 2. according to game mechanics)

So, please ...if your gona argue with me, first read what i wrote and then try to think if you have argumments that hold water.

Tunders correct, you cant just make up reasons to ban something you dont like, as we have all agreed the only widely accepted rule is no first turn wf. Anything else beyond that is individual player opinion.

This is a strategy game, double walls can be both an advantage and a disadvantage as ive explained, i dont see the problem and i disagree with the arguments youve both presented. This is simply a difference of opinion.

However the problem is that you guys seek to break the first turn wf rule in order to counter the double walls which you dislike. This is where we have a problem.

I never addressed goblins rule proposal since i find it outrageous that him and waffel would suddenly attempt to have something completely legit banned because they dont like it. i can accept rewalling and serb walling being banned since a large portion of the community complain about it, but if you want to justify first turn wfs and banning double walling, you're going to have to go find a lot more support and better reasoning before i at least will even consider changing my gameplay to suit your tastes.

Good point ...after i posted the first message i thought of this and thought you might think of that.

Keep in mind my definition was meant to be as a rule only for turn 1 and turn 2 and was suppose to be about walls, not units.

This is where i made a mistake i admit ...i made it about moves while this is about walls.

According to that i should change my definition:
A unpreventable new wall is a move that your opponent couldnt prevent by using units.


So two rules for first and second turn:

Turn 1 rule: dont wall fuck your opponents territorial walls
Turn 2 rule: dont use turn 1 rule to create unfuckable walls
