Really good idea, it is the logical continuation of the use of the elo rating tbh. It makes me want to duel and cw again !

There should be only a fixed number of AM's,so theres the chance of getting demoted and getting clowned on ( also people can be promoted to AM )

Since there are player who only play east or west, i think there should be West GMs and East GMs too, a tournament for AM would be great too, where the winner get his GM tittle.

All in alll, a very nice idea .

Second we play scenario not FFA based map if you really want to play cw with us then play on scen not on FFA, Colonial , GG rp maps.

Well it's just prediction from you and nothing else, unless they play they does not qualify for other preset.

We see a lot of competitive players going into scenarios, or other maps and they typically decimate everyone in them after a little practice. You don't see the reverse happen in more than 1-2 special cases. If that is the case though then they should only need minor practice to master Eu+ and get a title through my requirements. I picked Eu+ because it's the most known and played. We gotta set a standard somewhere and Eu+ is kind of the only option.

You pick the map, but we get to pick what side we play. You know, as an incentive to not pick an unbalanced map.

This is not a problem. Lets do third age. You pick a side. We dont mind going either evil or good.

Why u guys dodge playing on FFA maps? Dont try to be ultra smart with me Siri, we both know that all the scenarios of Aetius, Phyrrhus and Dire, ranging from ancient based ones to others like the LOTR, WWI or Warhammer 40k have a lot of event units. Huarck and the boys in the clan will gladly cw yours on a FFA map like Destoria, Ancient or Nakarsia, etc there a shit ton of FFA maps that doesn't depend on events, just on skill of the player. Dont try to tell us that stacking a shit ton of trench unit in WWI is a super strat, the same from a russia who only spams walls to delay the event of East Prussia to go into their lands...

Also i dont know how to feel and how a player like me would fit in the standards of what is considered an AtWar Master because i have been playing scenario, ancient, colonial maps and EU+....and casual too lol (whose many of my clanmates or former clanmates in this or in another clans i had been doesn't play at all kek, hell i was one time on Noobs and excelsis and i was the only guy in that coalitions who played other things that wasn't EU+

This isnt the point were making. Read back the title of this thread. IF you are grandmaster then come to the scenario side and proof how grandmaster you are. None of us are saying we are grandmaster in nonscen map.

On which scenarios? Like fr come to balanced scenario maps which are quite popular as well and we would cw anyone on the daily. There is literally no clan that could ever win on the top scenario maps against the scen clans.
Dont count shit maps like GGG or unbalanced scenario maps as maps anyone could fight on.
Like sirivann suggested pick any phyrrus/aetius/dire maps and we are ready anyday.

Also ive seen some of your masters in a scenario map. I was disgusted that they could lose to a NON premium R6 random player. Never forget that fateful ww2 map with Leo xD

I've never seen any high authority considering or doing something for Scen community just eu+ and whole discussion of Atwar revolve around eu+ which is just sad. now when reality faces you, we are becoming 1 community unacceptable.

I usualy try to avoid any EU+ thread, but here i go.
If there is just one community why no one from scen community is even in Masters rank, FFA fantasy/ancient maps are not scenarios, and Scenarios are not just a bunch of maps with events like some already said in this thread. I dont care about any ranking of players skills, but dont try put us in the same bag if clearly we are not even considered for these kind of threads.

I know making a ranking is hard, you could make one using victories ratio, or SP ratio, or like in this thread that uses elo, there are many ways; some people like me just dont care, but dont think we are one united community, i dont even know who you are lol, first time i heard your name was this week.

I mean come on folks, how petty do we have to be about this? Say this battle between the two communities happens and scenario players win the scenario map battle and world map players win the world map battle. What does this all prove? All it proves is people who specialize into one type of map style are good at it and where will we be afterwards? We'll be back here on a similar ranking forum in a few months, saying the same things, and challenging each other to yet and another competition where most likely the same things will happen.

Come on guys, are we really going to go through this over and over and over again until someone loses wifi in the middle of a game and the other side claims victory to break this endless cycle? Players are players, maps are maps. All games in atwar require the same skills just some empathizes certain skills more than others. World map players don't just play metas but also mind games, expansions, aggressive walls, and proper eco and troop management a skill which is a lot more difficult to master than people think. Scenario players don't just relay on event heavy maps but rather are good at understanding various troops types, aggressive combat play, and extreme microing in a multi front setting. We all have strengthens and weakness and if we really need to fight it out to show the obvious, then damn what a sad state we have come to as a community. Shame on us all for coming to this state and shame on us for perpetuating this cycle over and over again.

This was acutally one solid and fun idea similar to Sphinx's 'ATN Top100' or even b0nker's 'Top10s'. Both were majorly focused on competitive part of community and they were not taken for granted. Those are individual opinions taken out from certain criteria, you know.
The matter is actually that you keep taking wrong contextes purposely to discredit certain player(s) or parts of staff. Doesn't matter what it is about, you see the author of something and base your opinion on his nickname.

I don't even remember when was the last time you supported anything made by someone from staff. On the other side, I see on a daily basis your discrediting or everything made by them. So, don't talk much about not being able to see 'anything intermediate' to others. Makes you being a hypocrite. Try being less negative.

I am positive for everything useful and helpful but not for things that divide community to parts and elites. Just look all the madness this caused staff and players insulting others. This thread wasn't made in a way to promote something healthy, in fact i would say it was made to do opposite as Sid mentioned.

Bonkers top10 had voting, while sphinx list was mostly for fun and it was his personal opinion, not something that can't be changed and that the requirements exist only for others but not for the original list.

on scenario question... the objections of the scenario players are justified, and contrary to what the competitive players think, the skill level in the scenarios is really high and there are competitions in scenarios that I personally have not seen on eu+ maps in recent years. To put it more accurately, as a player who has played on both sides, the level of competition in the scenarios is not less than the competition on the eu+ map, which we call competitive. I think we can expand the list, and scenario players can be added fairly with the help of a staff member who has good relations with the scenario community. my recommendations are direwarlord99, the_empirez and ivan.

I agree scenario players are good.
Current eu meta is mostly based on expansion, top players make perfect expansions with their first 5 turns ready, but this is the outcome of 7 years of competitive players trying to be the best on 1 map, the skills on eu+ is so high do you know how many months you need to be good on eu+? Just imagine people copying eachother and improving every single time on 1 map. Im not saying scenario players have no skills or scenarios arent skilled games, you do need skills, but to be a good player on 1 scenario is much easier than becoming good on eu+ . I know that scenario community isnt about 1 scenario (Fuck ww1 fags btw) and knowing all scenarios is apart of scenario players skills but thats players skills not map skills.

I learned a lot when I tried scenarios in 2019, when I was a r10 not last year with Warhammer and fourth age. I think without scenarios I wouldnt be that good right now, my playstyle is influenced by scenario players who I copied/stole some moves.
Scenarios are great, its somewhat harder than eu+ because I dont know the maps, I found many good players some would legit beat up most comp players after few months if they start competitive I even think that scen community had the best R9 I've ever seen. I had fun playing with them and learning something new on atwar like last year, but I dont understand why you come at us on this thread, elo is what atwar use as skill ranking, its normal to use them for Atwar master and grandmaster shit yeah elo somehow dont show all players skills even on our community and thats why I dont really like this thread but sid as an atwar staff is right to use elo as players ranking cuz its the only system atwar has to rank players.
I think making tier list made by scenario players for scenario players and competitive players for competitive players is much better, Im sure you guys would agree.

Also scenario players are so shit at drama if I was them I would have made a tier list with comp players at the bottom of the tier list a long time ago zzzzzzzzz you guys still have things to learn from us.
