So i am relatively new and some things are unclear for me, help channel didn't prove to be too helpful. 1. Is there a kind of premium feature where game mechanics change for you and only for you? Against a certain player (gray/black coloured on the map if it matters, is it a standard colour?) things work strange for me in a large casual game: - in the expanding phase when we were in peace we went for the same cities about 20 times. In about 90% of the turns i moved first as after hitting End Turn his name was there among those who haven't moved yet. ALL the cities went to him whichever side i was displayed on in the battle view (him-me-neutral or me-him-nutral). He had bigger number and more types of units in his armies if it matters. - it seems that i am having hard times turnblocking him. What is the chance that me with 3 stacks of 4 destroyers attacking 3 stacks of 2 frigates he can escape with all of them? It is hard to follow but he tipically escapes most of the time and only about half of my attacking forces reach their destinations (cities) even though their sources are not attacked? 2. How does it work? Why can't i make walls when there are enemy unuts scattered around, having relatively large distances between them? Is it because some enemy unit has moved through the place where i want the wall in the previous turn (or is going to in the actual turn)? Words cannot describe how wholeheartedly i appreciate sharing your wisdom with me and am eternally grateful in advance.

1. Premium gives you a "general" which is accompanied by upgrades that can boost the stats of your unit; not sure what you mean by game mechanics but yes premium would give you a slight edge against opponents if you use it properly. Also premium allows access to a few additional strategies. Mechanics are the same for everyone, the only difference is the upgrades and skill you have. -Gray/Black colour? Not sure what that means but if you're referring to the colour of their shield then yes that means they are non-premium. -If this is a casual game and you both attack a specific country it doesn't matter who attacked it first (or ended turn first) but rather who had the stronger army to take the city. - TBs aren't a definite thing so there is a chance he is just lucky and keeps evading your efforts 2. You'd probably have to show a screen shot for this one, of course if enemy units are in the way you won't be able to form a wall but if there is some distance between them it may be some kind of casual bug. I don't think it has to do with them moving through, it may however be that they have stealths or units you can't see in that place... again not really sure about this one so a ss would be helpful. Hopefully this clears things up.

Agree
Need some clarifications in this aspect. If both signed up a peace pact then whoever get the city is random. Otherwise if he and his opponent are at Turn 1 (for example), the game will break the peace and start the war, here the stronger army wins. In regards of Turn Block, it really depends on both the units count and the priority. Time doesn't matter, just the priority of your move i.e if you tried to attack him as your first move in the turn, and he tried to escape as his first move as well, then you should'be had a 50% chances. Chances changes depending on priority. Also beware when mixing units: if one part of the mix is Turn Blocked then the other part won't move. (for more information, read here: http://atwar-game.com/forum/topic.php?topic_id=16145 In regards of walls, listen to heat ^^. Walls are build the next turn after they were placed, and yes they can be broken (this is what we call "wall-fuck" or WF). My explanation about how WF works is way too technical for the case.

Thanks for the answers so far. I'm trying to move the infantry in the middle of Bulgaria around (the other four units are detected stealth units, i don't expect to make walls with them), where there are pink 'x'-es, i couldn't make walls with any of them anywhere, and all contained infantry or tanks.
They may take effect next turn but it should draw the lines when you are moving units around. The grey/black colour i referred to is the county/unit colour as can be seen.
Then at least one could have been mine out of the twentyish. I wouldn't go deeper into tb-ing in this game, but what is the chance that i can't catch with 3 stacks of double the amounts of units 3 stacks of enemy units (moving them with the same priority)?
