Map images for download (Default map + Middle-earth)

If anybody wants to tweak the Default map in PhotoShop or cut pieces out of it, here's the image:

I also noticed that there's no decent Lord Of The Rings map around yet, so here's a high-quality Middle-earth map that should be pretty suitable for the game:

Has anyone got a copy of the super-duper high-resolution Fable II map? It was released just before the release of Fable II and it was a 40MB TIFF file if I recall correctly. I've looked on the LionHead website for it but it seems that LionHead cannot into permalinks. Anyone got it?

Also, use the superior 7z format. The LZMA algorithm leads to absolutely tiny files and just about everything (incl. WinZip and WinRAR) opens 7z now.

Any chance the original troop pics can be downloaded?

Take a screenshot of the rare units, upload individual pics onto computer, upload back into AW. Problem solved.

It won't let me open the default map, it says it can't find a programme, now I can't open it at all

And if I just use default, is there way to make the map bigger?

Important is to choose FIRST the map background-image and THEN to draw the borders... if you resize the image later, the borders will not fit anymore, since the borders are NOT resizable. Max map dimension is 9999x9999, which is absolutely enough for any type of map or scenario...

Clone the default map just check the background box so it only loads the background and not border,cities and units.
